At Harris Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, we believe that serving others is not just something we do — it's who we are. Our internship program was created to give the next generation of leaders, creatives, and ministry workers a real place to grow, contribute, and be changed by the work.

This is not a coffee-and-copies internship. From your very first day, you will be doing meaningful work alongside a team that is deeply committed to the City of Camden and to seeing God's ways passed down from one generation to the next.

Who is the Internship experience for?

Harris Temple's internship experience is designed for motivated individuals at any stage of their journey — students, recent graduates, and community members alike. We welcome applicants from all academic backgrounds, including Christian Education, Theology, Communications, Digital Media, Education, Social Work, and Youth Ministry.

How many hours per week do interns work?
Our interns will be asked to work 20 hours per week. This schedule will be semi-flexible based on your availability. Sundays are required along with two weekdays.
What will I learn?
Our interns are not spectators — they are contributors.
